Hayy also ich muss in englisch ein Referat über die Sehenswürdigkeiten und über Hollywood als Filmstadt halten. Könntet ihr euch mal mein Referat anschauen und verbessern? Wäre super :))
At the Hollywood hills over the city you can see the big "Hollywood sign". Its more than just nine white letters spelling out a city's name. In 1923 the Hollywood sign was build. First the inscription read "Hollywoodland" but 1945 the letters were shortend to Hollywood. The letters was build to advertise for sale of land. Hollywood is called a moviecity because there are the most popular moviestudios. The bigges moviestudios are the Universal Studios, the Warner Bros and the Walt Disney studios. One of the famous sights is the walk of fame. Its a street at the Hollywood boulevard. At the pavement are over 2500 stars which 5 categories, each star has a symbol of the corresponding category. The stars honored famous people who play a important role or fictional persons. An other famous sight is the TCL chinese theater. Its a cinema at the Hollywood boulevard. It was build at 1927 as a cinema in chinese style. In the ground in front of the cinema are a lot of hand and foot prints from famous people. A other famous sight is the Dolby theater, it's a event and contert hall. Its opened at 2001 at the Hollywood boulevard. Since 2002 the Academy Awards are arwarded.

Ich kann nicht 100%ig für Genauigkeit garantieren aber ich denke, das schaut etwas besser aus und macht teilweise auch inhaltlich mehr Sinn. Merken: folgt auf a ein Wort mit Vokal (a,e,i,o und u), wird "an" verwendet. Dient mehr oder weniger der Wortharmonie. A other, da fehlt die Verbindung zwischen dem unbestimmten Artikel und dem Wort selbst.
Ausnahme ist "hour", weil das "h" ja stumm ist.
