Possibility benutzt man zum Beispiel für statistische Wahrscheinlichkeiten/Möglichkeiten.
Opportunity wird benutzt für ein Subjekt welches aktiv die Entscheidung/Möglichkeit treffen kann.

Nein, auch im Deutschen heißt beides nicht einfach nur Möglichkeit.
Opportunity bedeutet Gelegenheit, und Möglichkeit ist nicht genau dasselbe.
